Will I Lose Control of Myself?

Absolutely not! Hypnotherapy is a way to give you more control, not less. You cannot be hypnotized against your will, and you cannot be made to do something that goes against your morals or reveal information you do not want to share.

Can I Get Stuck in Hypnosis?

No, you can come out of hypnosis whenever you wish. You cannot get “stuck” in hypnosis, just like you can’t get “stuck” awake or “stuck” asleep. Hypnotherapists always end their clients’ trances for practical reasons, but if they didn’t, clients would naturally either return to full alertness or fall asleep.​

What Happens in the First Hypnotherapy Session?
The first session is the longest one at 70-90 minutes and consists of the following 4 main components:

  2. During a hypnotherapy session, the therapist will guide you into a state of deep relaxation and focused attention. This allows your subconscious mind to become more receptive to positive suggestions. You may experience a sense of calmness and tranquility during the session. Your mind may feel clear and focused, allowing you to explore your thoughts and emotions more easily. Overall, the experience of hypnosis is unique to each individual, but most people report feeling relaxed, peaceful, and in control during the session.
  3. Suggestibility Testing – To create significant and powerful changes in mental programming, it is crucial to understand how you receive suggestions and information. This testing helps us determine the most effective hypnotic suggestions for making positive changes in your subconscious mind.
